Not everyone wanted to drive the large rented trucks through city streets. Moving would be stressful since one (or multiple trips) needed to be completed in one day to avoid additional daily rental fees.

Storage In Motion also recognized the need for commercial portable on site storage.  During construction or remodeling projects, carpenters and tradesmen needed a place to securely store their equipment. In emergency situations, such as fires or floods, families needed to store their belongings as the house is repaired.
